Brick manor – Inspired by the client’s dedication to sustainable living. The geometric spatial design promotes family interaction and harmonizes with its surroundings. The courtyard with stone columns acts as connectivity to all living spaces complemented by a double-height dining area with glass wooden windows offering ambient lighting and views of the agroforest while moving on the Stairway.  The functional kitchen includes a traditional wood-fired cooking area designed to meet the client's needs. The Madras terrace roof and Mangalore-pitched roof are essential for the region and enhance thermal comfort. Exposed brick walls, custom-designed wooden elements and brass fittings, and IPS & terracotta tiled flooring create a comfortable yet rustic vibe to the residence. By incorporating passive design strategies and sustainable systems such as solar energy and rainwater harvesting, this residence successfully bridges tradition and modernity, through natural materials.
